Adding storm/ screen combination windows to historic buildings is a standard job for us. The new storm windows not only improve the energy usage in the building but they protect the older wooden windows and prolong their life. Note the before and after photos below showing the old aluminum storms on a historic house being replaced with new units that mimic period wooden storms quite successfully. |

The old style storm windows are only available in white but we can color match the new windows to any Benjamin Moore color. |
Another feature of these new storm windows is that there are no screws on the exterior which makes them an additional defense against burglary. |

The over-sized picture windows on the front of the house to the right are flanked by sliding glass doors on each side that slide over the fixed unit in the center. Note also the new 8/1 double hung windows in the new dormers at the second floor. |
