Our crew used the "Peel-Away" system which is a lye based product. |
We also did extensive repairs to the roof edge and fascia. |

The windows were covered with older style storm windows that obscured the sash. |
New storm/screen windows fit flush with the jamb and are color matched to the trim. |

Inside the house we found that the old plaster walls were impossible to restore, being coated with layers of paste and improperly applied paint. |
The chimney front in a guest room was peeling and the plaster on the ceiling had lost its grip. |

Our solution was to cover the plaster with 1/4" sheetrock, carefully cut around the fancy casing. |
The walls were painted with a matte white and the trim is painted with Old Village latex paint. |

The panels under the windows were repaired and the trim sanded down to bare wood. |
